My Statement:
I am interested in abstracted landscapes and patterns. My work normally represents these spaces through a lens of bright, vibrant colors. Initially these patterns I work from are naturally derived and then become abstracted, allowing color to guide the space into an imaginative state. Even if the viewer does not recognize what the image is, I hope that they will see the hidden beauty of the small patterns found within.
Through these images I aim to tell an interesting story of our planet.
